I know how beloved Gecko Chan is worldwide, but I never imagined I would be the one designing Heroes Made in Asia’s new mascot, Mochi. I have put so much passion into this, and I truly hope the fans enjoy it just as much as I loved creating it all!”

She’s currently working on the Planeta Manga magazine, where she’s published titles like EDO, NEBESTA (with script by Vanesa Final) and KOHVA, written and drawn by Konata, title that has been licensed to be published in Japan, a historic feat!

Mike McFarland is coming to Heroes Made in Asia! ⭐️ Mike has been acting professionally for over 20 years in various roles, but is most known for his voice work in animations and videogames, like Master Roshi in DragonBall Z and DragonBall Super. 🎮

Michaela Jill Murphy (aka Jessie Flower) is our new Special Guest!

She is a Los Angeles based actor, singer, and writer known for voicing “Toph Beifong” in Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender. Other credits include “Chaca” in Kronk’s New Groove/Emperor’s New School, “Young Franny” in Meet the Robinsons, “Nasse” in Platinum End, and “Harika” in Boruto.

Sara Lozoya is coming to HMIA!

Sara Lozoya was born in Madrid in 1996. She’s been drawing for as long as she can remember, be it on notebooks or school tables, but despite the fact she’s always known she wanted to work on illustration, she’s never gone to art school.

Paula Aranega will join us during HMIA!

Paula Aranega is an illustrator whose professional journey began with a love for bringing stories to life, creating book covers, illustrations for children’s books, and imparting art lessons to youngsters. Over time, She also ventured into the realm of translating comics, bridging the linguistic gaps between Korean, Spanish, and English.

Sara Soler is attending HMIA in May!

After her frist published work, Red & Blue, she worked on Planeta Manga, published the book “In Darkness” and worked on Dr. Horrible: Best friends forever, and Plants Vs Zombies: A little problem, both for Dark Horse Comics. Her 22 page fanzine US received several awards between 2019 and 2020.

Heroes Made in Asia is taking place at Evenementenhal Gorinchem and is easily accessible by public transportation and by car. The parking costs will be 8 euro for a day! There will be free shuttle buses from and to train station Gorinchem to the Evenementenhal! 

Jason Paige is coming to Heroes Made in Asia

Jason Paige, the lead singer of the Pokémon theme song is coming to Heroes Made in Asia! he will give a performance on the Main Stage as well! Apart from the Pokémon Theme Song Jason has made quite some jingles and had a few voice acting jobs as well.
