We have just received notification from Prorail that urgent track maintenance is scheduled for this coming Sunday, February 25th. We have engaged in discussions, but unfortunately, the work could not be postponed. We understand that this may cause problems for some of you. As alternative transportation, NS will deploy buses. However, please be aware that this may result in longer travel times.

  • Trains will operate normally on Saturday. A shuttle bus will be available at Gorinchem station. Additionally, every half hour on Saturday, bus line 387 will run from Utrecht CS via Gorinchem station to the Event Hall twice per hour.
  • On Sunday, a bus will run hourly between Geldermalsen and Gorinchem station. The travel time is approximately 60 minutes, whereas normally it’s 20 minutes. At Gorinchem station, you will transfer to the shuttle bus to the Event Hall.
  • On Sunday, trains will run twice per hour between Dordrecht and Hardinxveld-Giessendam. A coach will run between Hardinxveld-Giessendam and Gorinchem station. The travel time is approximately 30 minutes, compared to the usual 10 minutes. At Gorinchem station, you will transfer to the shuttle bus to the Event Hall. Bus line 387 will run twice per hour between Utrecht and Gorinchem station on Sunday. Additionally, Arriva bus line 47 will run once per hour between Geldermalsen and Gorinchem Muzenlaan stop, taking 40 minutes. From the Muzenlaan stop, it’s a 15-minute walk to the event hall.

As an organization, we deeply regret having to convey this, but unfortunately, it’s beyond our control. Therefore, we advise you to come by car so you can make the most out of your day. We also have a useful tool to encourage carpooling. Please check the widget on the website for this. Our shuttle buses will still run to and from Gorinchem station.

If you have a Sunday ticket and cannot attend due to the above-mentioned reason? Please send an email to info-made-in-asia@easyfairs.com, and we will gladly explore the possibilities of converting your ticket to a Saturday ticket. As we have now been informed, trains will run as usual on Saturday with sufficient capacity.
