We are thrilled to welcome a familiar face back to the stage: Sakuraflor, also known as Saku. As an experienced cosplayer, creator and community-builder, she is the perfect person to bring the Cosplay Area and Mochi main stage to life.

Saku has been part of the international cosplay and creative community for over 10 years. During that time, she has earned numerous awards for her performances on stage as well as her work behind the scenes. She has also collaborated with major names in gaming and entertainment through various live-action projects and events.
Thanks to this broad experience, Saku knows exactly how to engage an audience, help cosplayers shine, and shape a programme that appeals to both newcomers and long-time fans.

Cosplay is just one of the ways Saku expresses her creativity. More recently, she has expanded her creative world by writing her first original book, Dreambound, which is currently in development. With this project, she explores new forms of storytelling and proves that her love for fantasy and narratives goes far beyond costumes alone.
On top of that, she has brought her love for motorcycles into the mix with Sakurides. This initiative blends geek culture, riding and community, bringing together fans, riders and creatives, and showing how different worlds, from pop culture to lifestyle, can strengthen one another.

Sakuraflor has hosted at Heroes Made in Asia in earlier editions, and now, after a short break from hosting HMIA, she is returning as our Cosplay Host.
During the event, Saku will guide the audience through the cosplay programme, support participants and keep the energy on stage high. For many visitors, she is a familiar and much-loved face; for new visitors, she will be the perfect introduction to the heart of the cosplay community at the event.

"After a short break from hosting HMIA, I’m really excited to be back and reconnect with this community"
With her experience, enthusiasm and genuine love for the community, Sakuraflor is a perfect match for the spirit of Heroes Made in Asia. We cannot wait to see her on stage again and make this year’s cosplay experience even more memorable together.
Keep an eye on our channels for the full cosplay programme and find out where you can see Saku during the event. There are still Regular tickets available in the ticketshop.
