Embark on a journey into the upcoming anime landscape of 2024, featuring anticipated sequels, adaptations, and new releases. From the intense world of horror and workplace humor to Korean web novel sensations, these releases unveil what’s in store for anime enthusiasts. Whether it’s the return of beloved series or the introduction of fresh narratives, the 2024 anime lineup is set to offer a diverse range of adventures and surprises.

Chainsaw man Season 2

Chainsaw Man is a unique anime that combines workplace humor, intense action, and horror. The upcoming Chainsaw Man Season 2 promises more of the same captivating elements. The story follows Denji, who bonds with Pochita, a devil in the form of a dog, gaining the power to join the Public Safety Devil Hunters. Major world events are remembered by powerful demons associated with the Chainsaw Demon. What sets Chainsaw Man apart is Denji’s simple motivation—he seeks food and a girlfriend. The reason for the 2024 release date is that, contrary to internet rumors, MAPPA—the production company behind Chainsaw Man’s first season—has completed work on the last episodes of Attack on Titan: The last Season and Vinland Saga Season 2. Therefore, it is possible that MAPPA is developing Chainsaw Man Season 2 and that, by the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024, they will make some announcements on the second season.

Solo Leveling

Solo Leveling, a Korean web novel series by Chu-gong and Jang Sang-rak, is set to receive an anime adaptation scheduled for a January 2024 release. The narrative follows Sung Jin-woo, deemed the weakest hunter, navigating dungeon raids to cover his mother’s medical expenses. A pivotal moment transforms him into a “player,” allowing independent leveling through a game-like system. The anime promises a captivating blend of modern-day Korea, magical powers, and MMORPG elements, offering fans a visually immersive experience in early 2024.

Tower of God Season 2

The critically acclaimed anime series, Tower of God, has been officially greenlit for a second season, set to premiere in July 2024. Following its debut in April 2020, the first season garnered widespread praise from both fans and critics, despite its concise 13-episode run. The announcement of the second season at Anime NYC has excited fans, especially given the three-year wait since the conclusion of the initial season. Adapted from the WEBTOON digital comic of the same name, Tower of God’s upcoming season promises to continue the captivating narrative that left viewers eager for more.

Classroom of the elite Season 3

Kadokawa has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated third season of “Classroom of the Elite” is set to premiere on January 3, 2024. The debut will take place on the AT-X channel at 10:30 p.m. JST, followed by broadcasts on other channels such as Tokyo MX, BS NTV, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and KBS Kyoto. For international fans, Crunchyroll will simulcast the third season on the same day for viewers outside of Japan, offering subtitles initially. This exciting news brings the show to audiences in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS. Dubbed versions in various languages are expected to follow at a later date.
