We’re delighted to announce that Judit Mallol, the talented author and illustrator from Barcelona, will be joining Heroes Made in Asia 2026!
Judit has been drawing for as long as she can remember, developing a lifelong passion for art from a very young age. She worked as a character designer for mobile games at Ubisoft while completing her Fine Arts degree at the University of Barcelona. Since 2018, she has illustrated children’s and middle grade books for publishers in Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
In addition to her book illustration work, Judit has taught several live online illustration courses for Escola Joso in Barcelona, sharing her creative knowledge with aspiring artists.
Her most recent projects include the illustrations for the Spanish collector’s editions of Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarro, editions highly praised for their detailed and expressive artwork. Judit also published her first artbook, Carousel. The art of Judit Mallol, in both Spanish and English. The book features her complete body of personal and professional work to date, along with exclusive illustrations and insights for navigating the art world.
At Heroes Made in Asia, fans will have the opportunity to meet Judit, explore her artistic process, and discover the stories and inspirations behind her richly detailed illustrations.
