Celebrated artist Carles Dalmau returns to Heroes Made in Asia 2026

We’re excited to announce that Carles Dalmau, the acclaimed multimedia cartoonist from Girona, will be returning to Heroes Made in Asia 2026!

Born in 1997, Carles has built a diverse creative career spanning comics, illustration, and concept art. He is currently the lead artist for the independent video game studio Massive Monster, where he contributed to the award-winning hit Cult of the Lamb. His artistic versatility and dynamic visual style have earned him recognition across the animation, publishing, and gaming industries.

Carles is the author of Lucid Lucy and Calamari Kebab, co-author of Brainrot, Soma, and Pilgrim, and illustrator of the Magic Animals book series. Over the years, he has worked as a concept artist and illustrator for various animation and video game studios, shaping imaginative worlds and memorable characters.

In addition to his work across media, Carles is the creator of the official mascot of Manga Barcelona and designed the poster for the event’s 27th edition, further showcasing his impact on the European manga and art community.

At Heroes Made in Asia, fans will have the chance to meet Carles in person, explore his creative portfolio, and learn more about the storytelling and visual development behind his many projects.
